Valverde vince la Volta a Catalunya 2018 a Yates l’ultima tappa

Simon Yates   Mitchelton-Scott ha vinto l’ultima tappa della Volta a Catalunya 2018. L’inglese ha preceduto sul traguardo di Barcellona  Marc Soler  Movistar Team secondo a 13” e Pierre Latour  AG2R La Mondiale.

Alejandro Valverde Movistar Team ha vinto la classifica generale della corsa a tappe con 29” di vantaggio sul secondo  Nairo Quintana Movistar Team che ha scalato di un posto per la caduta di Egan Bernal Team Sky. Completa il podio il francese Pierre Latour  AG2R La Mondiale a 47”.

Brutta caduta per Egan Bernal Team Sky a 6 km dal traguardo. Il colombiano rimane diversi minuti a terra prima di essere portato via in ambulanza.
