La vittoria nella tappa di apertura del Giro di Polonia 2018 è andata a Pascal Ackermann.  Il tedesco della Borha Hansgrohe ha battuto in volata Alvaro Jose Hodeg Quick-Step Floors e il nostro Matteo Trentin Mitchelton – Scott. Quarto Giacomo Nizzolo Trek-Segafredo.
